Don't you know I'm loco?

My name's Charly and I'm really just a bog standard human being, no frills attached.

Ask me anything

Figured out a way to do well in one of my modules.

The answer is don’t do what they tell you to. This module is a weekly lecture on a Thursday followed by an assignment which must be completed by the following Thursday and is marked on a scale of 1-3 . I’ve been to one of these lectures and it was a complete waste of time, and while I might go to the one tomorrow because it sounds interesting the lectures are completely unnecessary. On the website you’re given ‘suggested reading’ to help with your assignment, but here’s the catch - one of the assessment criteria is ‘wider reading’. All I did last week was ignore the lecture, ignore the suggested reading and do literally about ten minutes of research, wrote about something nobody else had and got a 3. I probably read less, wasted less time and got a better mark, and under comments it said ‘very distinctive piece of writing’. Point proven. Don’t go to lectures, teach yourself completely different stuff and you’ll stand out from the crowd it seems. Obviously this doesn’t work for maths but I don’t go to maths lectures anyway because they’re literally teaching us year nine level stuff currently.
